I graduated National-Louis University with a 3.7 GPA, and am also in the Kappa Delta Pi honors society for teaching. I have had many years of experience in the classroom, and with many different programs. I also have tutored previously for Sylvan tutoring. I am a Golden Apple Scholar, which is a prestigious award for teaching scholars that I won my senior year of high school. I love teaching elementary children. I like to watch their faces when something finally clicks and they light up. All children have the ability to learn some just need a little extra help or the information explained in a different light. I have a BS in Child development with a minor in phsychology and I was teaching for Head Start back before I finished my degree. I have since finished and I am looking to expand my range. I love math and it just comes easy for me. I have a background in Engineering and Calculas. I first make learning fun and exciting. As in past experience each child learns diffently and I need to be able to adapt to this.
