Literature is one of my top subjects! I have a strong passion for literature. I scored in the top 90th percentile on the Kapstone senior exit exam for Literature. I am proficient in areas from Chaucer and the middle ages, to Shakespeare, early to contemporary British Literature. My area of special interest is American Literature. I have tutored students in reading programs from first grade to the High School Equivalency program. I also have a B.S. in broadcast journalism and currently am a literacy teacher in the fifth grade at LaFollette Elementary School in Campbell County. Eventually, with guidance, I aim to get them the ability to talk through and solve any problem. The second major technique I like to use is analogies.
