For the last past six years I have enjoyed my students. They never cease to amaze me with all the many things that they can grasp when you try. I was an assistant in JPS. Tutoring was my job. I have also tutored other grades up to fifth. I really enjoy kids and I always wish the best for them. I have also had to be the actual teacher for the remainder of the school year and did grades and end of the school year things due to the teachers' emergency leave.
My motto is simple: In all of your getting, get an understanding. I truly belive that every child can learn. As a graduate of Mississippi State University, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I had the opportunity to intern in the West Point Public School District where I taught fourth grade and kindergarten. I learned valuable information while teaching that will help me throughout my teaching career such as how to plan and lead effective lessons, how to differentiate instruction, and collaboration to create an creative learning environment.
