I am in my third year studying music education at The College of New Jersey. Currently, I am studying with Kathleen Mitchell, the Principal Second Saxophone with Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia since 1994. I have given numerous performances during my collegiate career and have an extensive knowledge of diverse saxophone and woodwind repertoires. Saxophone is one of my top subjects! I am a current Jazz Saxophone Performance major at Temple University. I have teaching and performance experience across many genres and in several different settings.

I spent the last 2 years as a Jazz Saxophone Performance major at Rutgers University, and in the fall I began studying at Temple University. At Rutgers, I have had the privilege to study jazz/classical performance and theory with Ralph Bowen, Stanley Cowell, Mike Richmond, Joe Magnarelli, and many others. Throughout my teaching experiences I have had the opportunity to work with numerous students with a variety of learning styles. I was trained academically at PAFA to draw and paint still life, landscape, the human figure but as a child, my Mother introduced me to painting in the tub with newsprint taped to walls, with tempra paint in baby food jars to express myself. I love teaching young children but have worked with all ages, from tots to elders. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a successful graduate of Susquehanna University, having earned a BA in International Studies. This study of cultural anthropology allowed me ample experience with writing, grammar, and research. I will be attending Rutgers University next year to earn a Master of Science degree in Microbiology. I am very experienced in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Math on all levels.
