Journalism is one of my top subjects! I have a B.A. in Journalism with over ten years of professional writing experience for newspapers, magazines and Websites throughout the country on both a full-time and freelance basis.

After earning a Journalism degree in 2005, I spent four years as a full-time sports reporter at two daily newspapers in Pennsylvania (The Record Herald from 2005 to 2007 and the Public Opinion from 2007 to 2009). In 2008 I was honored by the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association with a Keystone Press Award for feature writing. Since 2009 I have worked as a freelance writer covering things such as the Carolina Panthers, Durham Bulls, Team USA baseball, Nationwide Tour golf, aviation, high school basketball and more. I currently cover high school sports on a freelance basis for the Garner-Cleveland Record (News and Observer subsidiary).

A Little Bit About Me...

I prefer a hands-on approach when possible. I lik to help the children relate to what they are learning in order to help them remember it.
I was a straight A student throughout school. I am currently a high school senior, so the information is still fresh in my mind.
