Most of my experience is informal with tutoring family members/church members/friends in whatever areas they were struggling. A Little Bit About Me...

Before coming to Emory, I grew up in a struggling Memphis public school system. Although I was lucky enough to have plenty of resources, support, and guidance to enable me to excel, I knew many students did not have the same fortune. I began informally tutoring the ACT and SAT in high school. In college, I was a member of 'Emory READ' (through Emory's volunteer agency) tutoring at an inner city elementary school and AmeriCorps Jumpstart tutoring at a pre-school.
