I have worked with Middle School age youth for almost a decade. I am Site Coordinator at an after school program & run a science focused club there. I also occasionally help the students who have been removed from our Homework Room with a number of subjects. I enjoy imparting my knowledge to my students via a variety of hands on learning activities and have always been a keen math, science and language arts student myself. Throughout school, I also played every woodwind instrument except the Oboe. While in college, I took every Agricultural Education class offered, as it is my intended area of post graduate study, and gained a grasp of educational psychology, classroom management and lesson planning. I love being able to teach someone something new. I love learning, but have always been a visual learner, so whether I'm teaching someone how to read, or simply helping them improve their reading skills, I introduce visual aids.
