My comments on tutoring GED : I am a College Professor (History, Philosophy, Ethics, English) with many years of tutoring experience. I have helped many students to pass teh GED exam (including both my daughters). I am patient and understanding. I have been teaching basic skills (reading, writing, oral communication) for 30 years.

In my experience, the majority of students are highly motivated. This is, for me, the key to success. I have been either a student or a teacher for most of my life. I have experience in a wide variety of settings with a wide variety of students. I started my teaching career in the primary grades, teaching first and second graders. I have experience working with adult students in a correctional setting and at the college level.
