A Little Bit About Me...

My curiosity to understand systems and solve complex problems drove me to major in Computer & Information Science and minor in Mathematics. Due to my approach to presenting materials/work in a simplified way for my audience, my teacher recommended me as a math tutor in my sophomore year. Throughout my last two years in college, I tutored almost all level of undergraduate mathematics, physics, and entry level statistics. I implemented and maintained custom code for a number of clients, and I performd lead programmer functions and mentor others. Every few months I conducted "lunch and learns" for programmers and analysts. During these sessions I would describe what code was doing in a particular module. This would help them with their implementations.
I like to first show a basic example of the problem, then show how the problem can be solved. I will then show another example that is a little more involved. After this, I let the person being mentored try solving a similar problem.
