I am a college sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am pursuing Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Art History. My expertise is in English, history, and art, but I also have experience tutoring in French up to high school French III. I received a 35 and 36 on the English and Reading portions of the ACT, respectively. I also received a score of 4 or above on the following AP exams: Art History, English Literature, American Government, Comparative Government, American History, and European History.

During my musical career, I have had multiple professional experiences as a teacher and performer. A Little Bit About Me...

I think that everyone has a propensity to learn a language and each student needs someone very patient to go down the path of language learning with them. A student learning a foreign language must speak the language a lot, so I will place an important emphasis on conversational skills. Once a student can converse correctly and comfortably in another language, they will have more fluency in their writing, reading and listening skills. Throughout all of my academic career, I have never been paid for helping other students-my friends-with their homework. Yet, I have still done it when they asked. In high school, I usually helped the struggling athletes, even though I too was an athlete; this continued in college. In sophomore year of college, I was the peer teacher in Stephens Success class, where I helped students with various issues. In speaking of Academics/Subjects I have personally not gotten below a A- since I was in second grade and can tutor in a variety of subjects including English, Math, Biology, and Chemistry.
