I have had a well rounded career as a business professional and musician. As an information technology professional, I have worked with more software and tools than this space would allow me to catalog. As a senior manager and Chief Information Officer, I have worked to gain an understanding of the businesses processes and implemented beneficial solutions. A Little Bit About Me...

As part of the requirement to be a member of Pi Delta Phi, the French National Honor Society at UCF, I was required to tutor French students of all levels on a regular basis. Learning a foreign language not only taught me French, but also gave me a new understanding of English. Being an instructional designer for the Military for six years, I can learn any subject in a short period of time (I write lessons on a new subject on a weekly basis). I have excellent writing and editing skills due to writing lessons every day. While my tutoring experience is somewhat limited, my teaching experience is vast, ranging from language, grammar, and writing to first aid, weapons, and various engineering tasks.

I graduated from high school as number eleven in rank out of 248. I often assisted other students in both high school and college. Later, as a homeschooling mother of four, I taught all of my children all subjects through the eighth grade level. I just returned from the island of Saipan, where I taught high school English in a private school, and seventh grade English in a public school. I presently am a certified substitute teacher in the Cumberland County, PA, public school system, where I teach almost all grade levels and subjects. I far prefer private tutoring over formal teaching, as I believe my abilities are put to their greatest use in that setting. I absolutely love working with students one-on-one. It's what I do best.
