A Little Bit About Me...

Gaining and sharing knowledge has been a driving force throughout my life. Literacy is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our children. Having taught grade levels from preschool to adulthood, I know that everyone learns in their own unique manner and at their own time. My experiences span not only various age groups but different subjects as well,including math, algebra, biology, history, literature, Spanish, grammar, reading/phonics, study skills, and beginning dance. I have taught in the classroom for 11 years and tutored for over 20 years.
I match my teaching style to the learning style of each individual. I enjoy teaching and working with a variety of students. I do hold firmly that all young people can learn, just via different modalities. I thrill when students finally master a concept that they have been striving to grasp.
