I love that look that you get from a child who gets what you are teaching them. When the light bulb turns on, and you know that they understand the process. That's what makes it all worth it. My teaching style is that with enough work, any child can succeed. They just have to know they matter to the teacher. I am a hands on learner myself so visual tools help me to teach the concepts to students.
I am a graduate of Clemson University, with a BA in Biological Sciences. I have always enjoyed biology since my first AP class my Junior year of high school. I earned a 193 out of a possible 200 on a Praxis test that covered content knowledge of my subject area (English literature), and 179 in a comprehensive middle school language arts test, and am enrolled in Capella University, where I'm currently pursuing a master's of science degree in K-12 studies.
