A Little Bit About Me...

As an educator, I hold three degrees in education. I have earned a BS in Elementary Education, A Master's in Elementary and I also hold a Specialist in Elementary Education as well as a Specialist in Administration and Supervision. I have taught 29 years in the public schools system. During the summer month, I tutor children in my home or at the local library. I also utilized my expertise by teaching in the after school program. I have taught reading, math, Language Arts, English in grades levels K-8.
I have worked with children one one, whole class instruction with given individualized attention when need. I also have worked with small setting of children at a time. Through several college degrees, I have taken extra courses in English; I have enjoyed learning the correct way of writing, proper grammar usage, and how sentences are successfully crafted. The area of "words" fascinate me, and I have continued improving my knowledge of the English language over the years. When I was earning my Juris Doctorate, I received the grade of "A" on many papers along with winning the coveted "Highest Grade Award" in my Legal Research and Writing class.
