Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I am currently entering ASL 5 at college level, I am a member of the American Sign Language Honor Society, and have tutoring experience.

I would say my teaching style is that everyone has the potential to improve and that everyone has the ability to learn. I am very patient and my goal is to help every individual student's needs, whatever that may be. My schedule is very flexible and I am available weekdays, evenings and some weekends.

I have numerous experience teaching ASL to many children, young adults and few older adults either paid or volunteered. I also tutored math, english, and science in the past as well. Sign Language is one of my top subjects! My mom and my step father are both deaf and my real father was hearing. So growing up I learned sign language along side with learning english. I have almost always interperted for my mother and step father in many situations.

In American Sign Language I was raised learning English along with American Sign Language so I could speak to both of my parents. As my dad is hearing and my mother has been deaf since birth. Once my parents divorced I moved to Texas with my mother and step-dad, who is deaf as well. Being in an all deaf house American Sign Language was my only way of communcation with my parents. I am extremely fluent in Sign Language. I would also interpert for my parents if needed in multiple places and multiple situations.
