I have worked for Liberty High School with their AVID program for over 4 years now, and I have been a personal tutor for about seven years to date. I have had a great many students and have been given rave reviews from all of them. I feel I am very knowledgeable in mathematics and I also feel I am very good at relating it to other people in different ways so they may be able to understand. Math is life!

Two ways: One, where I guide the student giving little hints and trying to make them think through the problem themselves. Two, how I learn better, is by seeing the problem done and seeing how all the steps are carried out, and then doing a second, similar problem by oneself.
I love math, and I find so much excitement in making other people love math. I will be a senior in high school this upcoming year, and i will be taking Calculus 3. Since every subject in may builds upon the previous one, I think it s safe to say I have mastered almost everything from Algebra 1 to Calculus AB. Nothing makes me happier than having others understand math because of how I explained it.

As a classroom teacher I quickly learned to engage each student individually. I prefer tutoring because I can tailor my instruction to a specific student. Children have different learning styles so it is my responsibility as the instructor to adapt lessons to maximize learning for each child. My first academic teaching experience started in the fifth grade, when my teacher asked me to help my classmates after school. Slowly my love of teaching and helping my classmates grew. Later I was asked to give lessons to my classmates during school hours. I started my own tutoring service for school children in my college days.
