Passionate Elementary Education Tutor

I love teaching and I love to see the spark in a child's eye when they finally understand a subject they have struggled with! I am a certified special education instructional support aide for an elementary school in northwest Fort Worth. During the school year, I work in Resource and Content Mastery with special education students that are in general education classes but need additional instruction in Reading, Math, and Language Arts. I also provide additional assistance through Content Mastery to students in Science and Social Studies. I am currently pursuing a second Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education as well as pursuing teacher certification through Texas Teachers. I have 12 years of teaching experience in grades 2-5. This is my first year out of the classroom, therefore I am very knowledgeable about the changing and increased expectations that your child is facing. I believe in working collaboratively with each other. Basing lessons on things that you love will will help you see the real life connections and importance of education. If we don't get it one way we will approach it another. Never giving up is my teaching style. If the first way we go about a learning objective doesn't work it will be my job to find a new way to teach it.
