A Little Bit About Me...

As an Early Childhood teacher, I have chosen what I believe to be a very important position in society. I have both a BA and a MED in Early Childhood Education. I have taught school for 27 years. During these years I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten,1st grade and specialized reading in grades 2-5. I have taught students in large classes, small groups and as individuals. I have knowledge in many areas of learning for young children, but am most proficeint in Math and Language Arts.
I enjoy teaching children and get great pleasure from helping them to learn new concepts. It is very exciting to see the glow in the eyes of a child when he has realized that he understands what we are studying. I believe each child is an individual and learns in his own way. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always valued education. I can remember comparing grades and discussing what we learned in class as early as 2nd grade. We had a healthy competitive spirit that helped us grown into productive adults. I first began tutoring in an afterschool program in 1995. I have always loved assisting students with learning. I have even considered getting my teaching certification. I currently have my MBA in Business management and feel most comfortable teaching math reading and English to children ages 5-12.
