I have a wealth of experience in many different areas. I have a bachelor degree in Economics. I started to work with special needs children. This was on a volunteer basis and so I don't think I listed it on my resume. I then substituted in the public schools for elementary and secondary schools. I tutored in the community college to college students. I opened my own school and taught medical classes. I have taught ESL in South Korea for 3 years to kids and adults.
I like to incorporate heart when I teach. Every student is special and keeps teaching interesting. I believe in the ability of the learner and must help them find success. I am patient but firm. A variety of methods are an important means to education as not all students experience the learning process in the same way. NLP, VAK, Multiple Intelligences, PACE system, Journaling, SuperLearning with Lazanov; relaxation tapes and tapes for particular learning needs I make myself for the students. I consider each student as "special" and work one on one with each one as I believe developing relationships is a must in all educational environments in preparation for their particular vocation.
