My comments on tutoring Science : Proficient in most science subjects.

Depending on the subject, I utilize from my own academic career tools that I found were the most effective and most successful. More than willing to pass on my knowledge, I pledge to do my best in delivering the information in a concise manner that gets straight to the point.
Experience: Standardized Testing Scores: ACT - 35 SAT - 2300 SAT II Math II - 800 SAT II Chemistry - 800 SAT II Biology - 790 5's on all AP Tests listed above. Based on my past teaching experiences, I have learned that in order to motivate students to learn, it’s imperative to make connections between the curriculum and their prior experiences and interests. I believe that it is unrealistic to expect students to learn at the same rate and have identical learning styles, so teachers must differentiate their instruction to account for all types of learning abilities, levels, interests, and talents. For instance, teachers should be able and willing to plan lessons and/or assessments that allow students to utilize their own individual and unique intelligences, such as perhaps music or art.
I graduated from Illinois State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, and a friend recommended me for an assistant job within a special education cooperative. I accepted the position and continued doing this for five years. The ti ... read more

My teaching style is positive. I also find ways to remember material by relating it to something familiar. I also advise students that studying the material each day as they learn will produce far better results than cramming before a test.
I obtained my associate’s degree at Prairie State College in 1997. I received the honor of Valedictorian by my high educational standards of earning a 4.0 GPA. My main focus was to learn as much as possible in the sciences, such as biology, anatomy, chemistry, and microbiology. During my last full-time semester at Prairie State, I started a full-time curriculum at Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Worsham has a two year schedule condensed into one year.
