My comments on tutoring Italian : I can teach Italian as a second language to people that speak Russian, English, or French as a native language.

I had a position as an English Teacher at University in Belarus. I tought English as a foreign language to university students. My students that I had were between the ages of 17 through 22 years of age and I tought levels 1 through 5. I also had positions as an Interpreter for companys in Belarus, Italy, Holland and Great Britain.

Italian is one of my top subjects! Originally from the Chicagoland area, I lived and worked in Milan, Italy for 15 years. I love the language and would love to teach it to you and/or your kids!

After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Business Management/Marketing, I set out for Milan, Italy and immediately found work teaching English and Business English there. I taught all ages (from 6 to 60), both individual lessons within the homes of the students or at my home, or individual and group lessons within big companies. One of my biggest clients was UPS Italia where I sometimes taught for seven to eight hours a day. After doing this for seven years, I found a job within a publishing house based in Milan. I eventually became the International Sales Manager there, and I still work for this company on a freelance basis doing translations and sales. I currently work from home as a writer, translator, and tutor.
It depends on the subjects I'm teaching and the needs of the students.

A Little Bit About Me...

I will adapt my teaching style to one that best suits the student.
I have had a love for the Italian language since I was 10 years old. I bought myself an Italian-English dictionary and began learning the language. In high school, I completed 4 years of Italian classes. Three of those years I was in honors classes, along with being the Italian tutor for all levels. I was chosen to be in the Italian Honors Society in my senior year. Also in that year (2008), I was awarded the medal for the Most Outstanding Italian Student, which is given to the senior with the highest GPA over four years of Italian classes. At Illinois Wesleyan University, I completed two more years of Italian study, finishing with Italian 300, the highest level offered by the University.
