My comments on tutoring Marine Biology : Marine biology is one of my passions, I not only like reading about it, but I also maintain my own marine environment at home, filled from your average rock encrusted algae, to very complex coral morphology studies. if you want to understand Marine biology, without all the coplex terms that professors use to sound bright, I can teach you.

In my years of education, I found that some of the methods used for teaching these subjects were inadequately explained, therefore causing students not to truly understand how to apply mathematics and science in school and their every day life. I have learned how to tutor in these subjects from raising my own children, all of whom found these subjects to be hard until I showed them how to avoid the pitfalls of our educations system. All of my kids were A students and are now in college, none of them now have a hard time understanding the subjects and are excelling in their own lives.

I just graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Biochemistry (Medicinal Chemistry) and received a minor in Biology. I have logged over 100 credit hours in ASU’s science departments while meeting the Dean’s List requirements. Growing up, my parents always emphasized the importance of giving back to your community and I also believe a career in science and education is the best way to do that. My teaching experience may be quite underdeveloped but is no way a reflection of my teaching ability.
