My finding principle on learning rest on the works of John Dewey, "want for your students, what you would want for your own child". With that said, I am a person of great patience and consdiration. I recognize that each student learns at a different rate and allow students to explore how best they learn, and given them an opportunity to do so. "Wait time" is the key to success and I give my students that time in and out of classroom. Therefore,I use a variety of learning styles based on my students. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is relaxed, but consistent and firm. I expect assignments to be completed and timely, and spend the time with the student instructing and revising. I ask that parents are a part of the experience. I like to communicate with the family frequently so that they are aware of the assigned tasks and they can make me aware of the student's feelings and needs.
