I graduated with a degree in earth science education in 1995. I worked for several years as a substitute teacher and then returned to college to gain biology certification. I worked at a local high school for five years teaching seventh grade science and senior high general science. For the last six years I have worked for a head start program. I am currently doing subsitute teaching again and would love to help students be successful by providing tutoring. Over the years I have worked with a variety of age levels of students and thier families.

I have taught students of diverse races, ages genders and nationalities. I have taught during the day, evenings, and week-ends. Most of my working life has been about teaching. Actually, I am a trained teacher and hold the equivalent of an AA degree with emphasis on teaching chemistry and mathematics at the high school level. During my teacher training program, I won a distinction award for excellence in teaching.
