I was fortunate to be able to enter college full-time at the age of fourteen. This gave a great opportunity to pursue a wide variety of interests and still graduate slightly ahead of my peers. As a result I had almost completed the requirements for majors in several subjects, including chemistry, German, music and the subject I received my degree in, biology. In addition to taking courses in these subjects, I was able to work as a German tutor for over a year and as a teaching assistant for two sections of first semester organic chemistry.

I have had many years of educational instructing in a classroom environment with my previous employment positions. I have filled the role of new hire trainer, technical instructor, and professional development program design manager. As a high honor student at LeMoyne College I have earned a bachelor's degree in Arts and Science. I majored in Psychology and Minored in Elementary Education. I am certified k-6 in Elementary Education. I earned my Masters Degree in Special Education at LeMoyne College as well. I am certified for grades k-12 in the are of Special Education.
I love teaching and working with all children. I firmly believe that all children learn differently. I currently am a Special Education Teacher at Canastota High School, where I teach a self contained class in the areas of 15:1 English 10, 15:1:1 English 11, and 15:1 Algebra II.
