Logical tutor with a wealth of military experience

I have taught military tactics to Soldiers as an NCO since 1998. I was certified as an Advanced Individual Training instructor in 2009. As an NCO, I am responsible for the welfare of those in my charge and several of my former subordinates have called me for advice even though they have other leaders. I was a tutor in college at Trenton State College in math and accounting from January,1989 to May of 1991.
I have a participating style where the questions are presented, I understand how to arrive at the right answer then I show the student how I got the answer

I believe there is more than one way to accomplish a goal so I am not limited to only one certain teaching style. I will adapt to my client. A client may learn best while sitting and discussing subjects, another client may learn better if the subject can somehow become an activity and still other clients may absorb information a different way. I have been a substitute teacher for the last 7 years at Groesbeck ISD working mainly with the high school area, and some at the middle school. I also teach an adult student at a local plant working on his GED. I am the primary instructor there. I write for several online freelance article sites and am paid to do that as well. I have passed my EC-12 Special Education test and also my Generalist 4-8 and am considered Highly Qualified in those 2 areas. I have to apply for my probationary certificate and lack the student internship area to complete my certification. I would do that upon getting a full-time teaching position.
