I enjoy teaching mathematics and have a deep love for what can be gained from having an understanding and appreciation of math. I also understand that math is not everyone's favorite subject. With that in mind my goal is for everyone that I teach or tutor to have enough of an understanding to appreciate its usefulness. When I teach I utilize several different teaching strategies to ensure that I reach as many of my students as possible. As a tutor I am able to use these strategies and more. A Little Bit About Me...

When most high school seniors were registering for classes, they had an easy agenda planned. My intentions were entirely different. I decided to challenge myself the final year and study more science coursework than was needed for me to sufficiently graduate. In addition, I was the kind of friend that was reliable in understanding course concepts, so most of my friends and some other peers were coming to me for help. In college, I continued to pursue my interest in business. Through out college I contributed to my church's youth group by helping in organizing and implementing their projects.
I enjoy children and trying to teach them new and exciting things. A Little Bit About Me...

I chose this major because I am fascinated by children, and how they all develop at their own individual rate. I am patient and kind, but at the same time, I like push a child to reach the potential that they usually do not ever realize they have. Children have different methods of learning and unfortunately, classroom settings do not meet all the students' needs. Some are more hands on, while some are just listeners. I like to find out what works best for the child, and go from there.
