A Little Bit About Me...

To whom it may concern, I have taught as a classroom teacher, a Title I teacher, and as a special education teacher. All of these experiences have given me skills I use as a teacher. I have a love of books and enjoy sharing them with children. I have always enjoyed working with children. I enjoy watching their faces when the lesson I am teaching suddenly makes sense to them! I am a strong believer in communicating with parents and working with them to best meet the needs of their children. I took a graduate course called Maine Literacy Partner: Good First Teaching. As a University of Southern Maine graduate, I look forward to having my own classroom where I can touch many students' lives. I have earned my BA in General Science with a concentration in Earth Science. I tend to use the many experiences that I have learned from in my own classroom and with students that I can help.
