My comments on tutoring Math : I have taught every grade math from 2nd grade through Algebra 2 successfully.

I have been a teaching assistant and tutor for the physics department at Wofford College for two years (starting in 2013). This covers both semesters of general physics, from classical mechanics to waves to electricity and magnetism to optics and modern. I have also taken all of the upper level courses available at the school.
I prefer to meet with students who have already looked at the material and are prepared with questions. We can then approach these problems together and solve anything the student was unable to do themselves. If I notice a gap in the theory behind something. A Little Bit About Me...

During my time at the University of South Carolina, I was a part-time tutor for the athletic department. There, I provided academic assistance in accounting, college calculus and statistics. I use math on a constant basis, as I interned as an auditor at a public accounting firm in Columbia and was an CoOp analyst for Johnson and Johnson. Math is definitely my strong suit and I've always been able to communicate my knowledge effectively to others. In High School I received 5s on both the AB and BC Calculus Advanced Placement exams.
