I have been teaching guitar for 23 years and have studied music extensively over the past 31 years of playing guitar. I have been playing in Banda for 25 years and played well over 600 shows throughout Boston Conmecticut and New York I have recorded 23 albums, 1 of which is currently on ITunes , I90 American Pot Pie. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutoring experience from family, and friends to jobs taken off of job sites. I have tutored many different courses before and will go out of my way to help a student in need if I am unsure of something. All of the subjects I put that I can tutor I can effectively help a student understand. I do not get frustrated and understand that different people learn different ways and will accommodate for that as best as possible.

Israeli general ed, Hebrew and music teacher!

I have taught private lessons for guitar and bass guitar students of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds since November 2007. I can teach many styles of music such as traditional classical, rock, blues, jazz and funk. I currently hold a teaching position in Billerica, MA.
My approach to teaching is to first make a general assessment of the student's skill level and having the student play what he or she is comfortable with on their instrument. The temptation as instructor is to simply restructure the way in which a student learns in order to fit your view, and those I have helped encourage such behavior. Guidance, suggestions, and allusions as to how a student can improve and understand is a better alternative. Simply doing the work for the student has little value in regards to education. A fine balance must be struck between open ended comments of little use and high jacking creativity through re-working large portions of work. My policy is to make the student aware of their shortcomings, explain my reasoning, and use enigmatic reserve in telling them how to correct errors.
