I graduated from Stephen F Austin State University in 2006 with a B.S. majoring in both Mathematics and Chemistry. I also have 20 college hours in Physics as well as 16 college hours in Biology. The educational goals of the departments is that it is not enough to do well on exams and homework, a successful student must be able to communicate the ideas and information to people of various levels of familiarity with the material. With this in mind students were expected to present material to the classmates, schoolmates and faculty in seminars from research projects. A Little Bit About Me...

My degree in Engineering has given me plenty of experience in math and science. I have also had graduate courses in Physics and Engineering. As a graduate student at UNT, I instructed several physics and astronomy labs and learned first hand what teaching can be like. I have since felt that teaching math and science is a career I want to pursue.
I have always had a passion for learning, and helping others learn. In middle school, High School and College, other students came to me for help with assignments. Knowing what it is like to be a student, I try to see from the students point of view. Each student teaches me their own way to learn. I enjoy learning and hope that I can share that joy with others.
