Biology is one of my top subjects! I graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul with a B.S. in Biology. I've conducted tutoring sessions in Biology for both high school students and college students. I love helping others understand Biology!

I try to get my students to find the answer for themselves by asking them questions. Students need to come to an understanding of their material and that won't happen if I continually give them the answers. I'm also very patient with my students. If they don't grasp a concept or topic that we're working on, I will continue to explain it to them in different ways until it makes sense.
I have been tutoring students for about 5 years. I started when I was a junior in high school. My first experiences tutoring were through the National Honor Society. I volunteered after school once or twice per week and I tutored mainly ESL students in Math and English. I began my college career in the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota. During my five semesters in the program I was able to study calculus and physics. I am familiar with high school level physics and mathematics up to and including pre-calculus. After five semesters at the University I transferred to St. Cloud State University to study economics.
