I have been teaching CSET English Test Prep for more than six years. I began in 2003, while working as a high school English teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District. The Teacher Training Dept. hired me to teach their Single Subject Prep classes to English teachers preparing for the CSET and Praxis Exams. My experience at the community college and public school classroom includes a wide range of diverse teaching experiences from high achieving Japanese to Hispanic low performing students seventh graders I have excelled at teaching all levels of ethnically, academically and physically diverse students. The procedure I follow in tutoring is to first attack is to find out where any understanding difficulty lies. Then, I write the rules out. Next I work 2-3 problems applying the rules as we proceed step by step. Under my tutledge, I have the student work 2-3 problems on their own.
