My comments on tutoring Composition : I have been teaching writing for 30 years at LaGuardia Community College, in NYC. I have helped many students from around the world to become fine writers of the English language. I am patient and understanding.

In my experience, the majority of students are highly motivated. This is, for me, the key to success. However, very often, students require assistance with a wide range of ‘remediation’ in many of life’s basic competencies: a skill set that includes such issues as time management, test taking, study habits, and, sometimes, acculturation. My comments on tutoring Composition : Can fix poorly worded sentences

I will use examples to teach. I will provide students with examples of the correct and incorrect ways to write a sentence. I will show pupils how to proofread their work for spelling and grammatical errors so that they do not rely solely on their spellchecker.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teacher for nearly 14 years. I have enjoyed elementary school. The children like the way I teach them all their subjects that are needed. Many times I have taken students who have problems with various subjects and them have elevated themselves for a better understanding of the subject they had trouble with. Tutoring I also do in many subjects. I am called in by different agencies to help students who have difficulty with either a subject or others.
