I have taught for many years in all levels of secondary school, alternative schools, and tutoring centers.I eat, sleep, and drink tutoring as I tutor every day during the school year and do lots of research to help my kids in whatever academic subject is causing them difficulty. I began my teaching career for the first five years as a high school English teacher and taught regular college prep English courses.The next five years I taught English at the middle school level.Next, I got married and resigned from teaching when our first child was born. My studies have given me practical experience working with children of different abilities and readiness. I sincerely believe it is the teacher's responsibility to adapt lessons to the student's learning style. I strive to create connections to student past lessons and keep difficult concepts in easy, relative terms that simplify information for the student to digest.
