My comments on tutoring Communications : I have no problem with communications

Teaching for me is a sort of a key that we give to learners. with this key they open the gates of knowledge and imbibe all fields of wisdon and philosophy. I believe teaching is a big responsibility that we are burdened with.
As any student who was looking at the future with optimistic vision, I gave all my attention to reach highest degrees of studies. I like to get to the point of certain problems, such as reading the child/student when I see them, ask them some questions about the subjects they need help in and why they need help. I have worked with Infants-School age for over 5 years, and enjoy being there to help someone in need. I believe in giving back, because so many of us are blessed already.
As an early childhood teacher, I have had several opportunities to help children (school age), to do homework. I also was a tutor in high school to a boy for just Algebra, which then turned around to being all of his subjects and helping him keep on track. The hardest thing for me was that he had only lived in the U.S. for four years, and had trouble speaking English. After each session of tutoring, I would grab the Scrabble board, which encouraged him to use more words, learn new words, and have fun while doing so.

I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.
I feel children are very self-aware and are very vulnerable to positive and negative feedback. Therefore, no matter how little progress is made, praise them. I teach SAT, for example, and expect all of my students to earn at least a 9 out of 12 on the essay portion. I coach each one on employing his or her strengths to produce a good essay. With beginners, I focus on organizing the presentation, clear declarative sentences, and effective use of transitions to keep things moving.
