My comments on tutoring Physiology : I have a Bachelors Degree in Animal Studies (Pre-Veterinarian Studies) with a high emphasis on biology, anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology, life sciences and general science categories.

I am a business professional working in the medical device and manufacturing industry in quality. My background experience is highly involved in all aspects of science including biology, chemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology. I was involved in high school in the Advanced Placement program in both History and English and have experince in all types of writing and grammar skills. I received my Master of Business Administration where I learned skills in public speaking and presentation. If you don't like the results, I haven't done my job.

All I do is tend to my students needs. I'm personal. Like to get off track with my students and lead them back to the point.
I won the state championship in the 100 meters and went to Adams State College in Alamosa CO. Broke a leg in track and received withdrawn F across the board. Left college and healed up. Went to the Army two years and reserve three years. Came back and picked up the quickest degree possiable. Moved to Hawwaii, three years. Became a ciritified dept of defense government contractor. Furnish and deliver contracts. Ended up moving back home to Albuquerque NM. I started working in the Indian Casinos for 13 years. I bought a house and retired. But now I'm tired of sitting around.

Physiology is one of my top subjects! I have taken many Physiology courses at UCSD including human/mammalian physiology along with its corresponding laboratory course, comparative physiology, and physiological psychology.

First, I begin by answering any questions a student has about the material they are learning. Once all questions are answered, I usually like to engage students in active learning by providing a worksheet for them in order to test where a students strengths/weaknesses are in regards to particular subject. Lastly, I usually finish off with review of important concepts about the material (especially concepts that students have the most difficulty with) in hopes to clarify the concepts/ideas of the subject.
