As an oboist, I have studied for over 11 years with notable teachers from Oberlin & Eastman lineage. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance from Nazareth College of Rochester in 2009. While there I had the opportunity to tutor in their community music program and took classes on studio teaching. Besides teaching credentials My music career has given me the opportunity to perform extensively on both Oboe and Flute in the US and the Bahamas. I graduated Cum Laude from Manhattan College with a double major in Psychology and Communications. In addition to studying for two majors, I was also a Division 1 athlete and held 2 jobs. Seeing as I was very busy with extracirricular activities, I believe that my graduating with honors was truly a testament to how hard I worked. Since college, I have worked in two jobs that have really tested my gramatical, reading, editing and speaking skills. A Little Bit About Me...

I have worked with Middle School age youth for almost a decade. I am Site Coordinator at an after school program & run a science focused club there. I also occasionally help the students who have been removed from our Homework Room with a number of subjects. I enjoy imparting my knowledge to my students via a variety of hands on learning activities and have always been a keen math, science and language arts student myself.
