I taught grades 3rd-5th in a self-contained, reading, math, and language skills and middle school grades 6th- 8th. After Hurricane Katrina, I moved to Pensacola, Fl. I taught regular ed. 3rd grade, all subjects,special ed., 3rd-5th and SRA reading classes, high school grades 9-12, career ed., health, and reading to behaviorally challenged students. I also taught evening called ged/abe ages 16-adult. I usually work especially well with children who have learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral problems.

As stated above, I believe the keys to successful training and tutoring is through repetition. I expect a great deal from each student, because I am convinced that we all have the capacity to learn. I feel that the role of a tutor is to facilitate the learning of the student; whereas his or her teacher has the role to teach. Through the strengthening of fundamentals and the building of a solid foundation, the student should be able to find continued success in the present and the future - in and out of the classroom.
