My teaching style depends on the student, but I like to use demonstrations, work through a problem instead of giving a problem, and I use visual learning methods (pictures and examples)
I graduated high school in 2013 and became a student at Adams State University in the fall of 2013. I then moved to Georgia and I am currently working through my application process to Columbus State University. I did a lot of volunteer work during high school and was involved in many things, ranging from two years in ROTC to becoming a Student Ambassador for the "People to People" program. I am a very hard worker and proven to be very resourceful. I love helping other people unlock their full potential because I want to see them succeed in life. My teaching style is flexible. Students learn in different ways and at different paces. It is my job to discover how the students learn and what they respond best to. For some subjects, repetition is very important and for others a clearer understanding of the concepts involved is more valuable. I like to start with small skills and build on them.

As an educator, I have been given the opportunity to teach a diverse group of learners, economically, physically, and mentally. I earned a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in School Library Media. I have served on various committees during my career. Being a second year teacher, I was chosen to go to NASA as part of a grant experience and received classroom training from certified NASA employees.
