Most of my experience stems from my Bachelor of Arts degree at Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. As a Biology major, I have a good background in Life Sciences and Math. I have several study techniques that helped me succeed in college, as well as my current career as a Scientist Integrated DNA technologies in Coralville, IA. Some of my past experiences include working at a summer camp for two years as well as two years in an Emergency Room at a small hospital. I have been a teacher and professor now for about half of my life. I have taught various science subjects to students of diverse abilities. This includes students at the junior high level to medical students. Despite the age difference there are a number of characteristic traits that remain constant in every learner. The job of a professor is to listen to the student and gauge the level of understanding of the topic and steer the learner to correct answer. This is achievable in any topic with any student. I have also passed SPEAK TEST along with the English Language Performance Test which is a requirement to be able to teach at the University of Iowa.
From my teaching experience at the University of Iowa, I think that the level of understanding of the subject varies from student to student. Some students grasp the subject easily while it is hard for others.
