I worked as a tutor coordinator for the YMCA tutoring children from the ages of 12-16. I helped them in basic studies to ensure that they had a grade of a C or better. My goal is to open up an after school program so that I can help students who may need tutoring after school get the grades that they need to pass on to the next level. There has been a change in learning styles over the course of time. Some children may learn through hands on activities and modeling, while others learn through lecture.
