I graduated with a 3.41 GPA in my graduate studies in Education. I received the Masters of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education in ESL & English. I held current, valid Teacher certification in ESL, English, & History. I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi & Sigma Tau Delta. Finally, in the spring of 1998, I was elected to Who's Who among Students in American Colleges & Universities. As a teacher, I was responsible for planning & organizing instruction to middle & high school students in the areas of English & ESL. A Little Bit About Me...

Growing up, I was always very gited academically. I never struggled with school, and learning was an easy pleasure. I graduated as valedictorian, and when I got to college I started tutoring to help others that had more difficulty in class. I didn't begin tutoring as a job until about two years ago, and since then have tutored in subjects including reading, math, and chemistry. While I am capable of teaching most subjects, science and especially math have always been my specialties.
All my life I have loved to learn. I thrive on academics, and I remember my college and high school days with fondness. It makes me sad to see students struggle, their frustration pushing out any passion for what they are learning. As a tutor, I try to instill my own passion inside of them.
