While Spanish is my specialty, I'm very capable and willing to help in many areas. I am especially good with math and grammar. My method is very student-led. The goal is to find ways of studying that use as many as possible of the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, reading, and writing. I have found that reading and writing are often a given so the challenge is incorporating the other methods. I seek to use variety and to communicate and experiment with my students to find what works best for them. I have been learning and speaking Spanish for 13 years! I would argue that my understanding of grammar is better than most native speakers. I majored in Spanish at Brigham Young University. Communication and patience is key. Im not an easily irritated person. I understand the struggles other teens may be going through as so have I before. I don't have a deggree in any of my listings. But i can say I have EXPERIENCE. I am a high school student. How I stand out from others is I know what teachers are looking for NOW. Things have obviously changed since others got their degrees. Being semi-retired with lots of time available, I am living out my passion by substitute teaching middle and high school students in my local school district.
