I am a teacher certified by NYS in Music Education grades K-12, and in Special Education. I did my undergraduate work at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam & my graduate work at Syracuse University. I spent one year teaching 8th grade chorus and music in the Churchville Chili Jr. High School, in Churchville NY. I currently work as a 7th & 8th grade music teacher in the West Genesee Central School District in Camillus, NY. I teach general music & chorus, as well as directing the annual school musical and teaching swing dancing! As a volunteer with the Salvation Army I have spent many years volunteering with children, teaching Sunday School and Band. When I graduated from Norwich University, the oldest private military school in the nation with a BA in History, and spent two summers working at summer camps as a Swim instructor and lifeguard, I added to my knowledge and experience of teaching and tutoring.
