The bachelor degree that I earned in Business Management required a substantial academic effort on my part. I never realized exactly why people go into teaching until I gained first hand experience. Teaching is one of the most rewarding things one can do as a profession. I love kids - they are often sweet, funny, easily impressed and are a great audience. I know that it is possible to make learning fun through a close, interactive relationship with a student - showing and guiding them through your own discovery of the subject. There have been times when I could feel one of my students learning; it is always a smile-provoking moment and I treasure every one.
I have a Master of Arts degree in English from Utah State University and have taught EFL overseas and within the US. A Little Bit About Me...

I was an American Read tutor at two elementary schools. I worked with kindergarteners and third graders to enhance their reading skills. In a one on one setting with approved books and kept them on track will goals that we set to meet each each. While I earned a bachelor's of science in Zoology where I took human anatomy. I have also tutored my younger four siblings through school.
I get to know the student first and see how best he/she learns. and go from there. I have worked with so many different personalities that I have been able to help each the best I can with understanding and patience. Tutoring a subject that I also had to learn will make it easier to teach them the tools that I needed to do the same. I hope that by showing how I did and that it was doable that they too can do it.
