I have worked for Defense Contractors in the fields of Chemical and Biological Defense; and with experimental aircraft development across both military and civilian sectors. I have campained for candidates for local office and I have written for publication. Born and raised in West Africa I bring a love of other cultures and a true "world or global" view to history, politics and government.
I like to involve all the senses: hearing new material; experiencing the reality of an abstract concept and finally teaching or responding it back to show that the lesson has been absorbed at several levels. Since retirement six years ago I have been tutoring and coaching my son, who is handicapped. He is highly intelligent but learns a little bit differently, so I have worked hard with him to teach him to read, learn math and grammar. He cannot write, so everything he learns is by memory. A Little Bit About Me...

I never realized exactly why people go into teaching until I gained first hand experience. Teaching is one of the most rewarding things one can do as a profession. When I first started lab instructing, I immediately fell in love with it and did it as long as the university allowed me. I look forward to any teaching opportunity that may come my way in the future.
As a Weber State graduate, I majored in Zoology and minored in Chemistry. Even though science has always been a passion of mine, I am very knowledgeable in math.
