As a student who graduated with honors from Sonoma State University in December of 2009, I was driven to achieve the highest level of excellence in education. I have earned my BA in Biology, and have taken 21 units of Chemistry, and 12 units of Math. This is a highly interactive style which leads the student to uncover the answer themselves as opposed to the teacher simply reciting the answer to them. Guided Discovery requires the student to learn by doing therefore developing necessary problem solving and deductive skills that will make them better learners and thinkers both now and in the future.
