Multiple Strategies Used to Manifest Understanding

I have worked in the lab of a major hospital in Lincoln for 5 years, previous to receiving my degree. I am currently working as a DNA extraction and analysis technician at a genomics lab in Lincoln, NE. Also, I am in the midst of obtaining my Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction of all Natural Sciences. I will graduate in May with my Masters and my teaching certification. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been interested in science and using that science to benefit humanity. In college I pursued a bachelor degree in Biology and was president of molecular/mircobiology club and was an anatomy, organic chemistry, and physics tutor. As an undergraduate I was able to be involved in forensic DNA research. After graduating I entered medical school where I have pursued research interests in pediatric infectious diseases, and middle ear dysfunction. In medical school I tutored students in pathology and pharmacology. My passions are teaching and patient care.
I have a teaching style that is very adaptive to any individual. I am very patient and understanding that multiple approachs to grasp a subject may need to happen.
