My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : The contents of a Pre-Calculus class vary school-to-school. I can help you identify the core concepts in your particular class, fill gaps in prior knowledge, learn study skills specific to high-level math topics, and more. Pre-Calculus is often a survey and extension of multiple topic areas including algebra and trig, so in Pre-Calc generally we create lots of summary review and reference materials, while also showing a lot of detailed work that explains *why* topics are connected, not just *how* to do problems.

I prefer personal and small group teaching, but I can also do online tutoring with Webex. I like to get to know my students and their goals. I can help students set those goals, make plans, and achieve. I have lots of experience creating curriculum materials and lessons, and I try to find a real-life application to each lesson.

I have always been interested in science and using that science to benefit humanity. In college I pursued a bachelor degree in Biology and was president of molecular/mircobiology club and was an anatomy, organic chemistry, and physics tutor. As an undergraduate I was able to be involved in forensic DNA research.
